Position Summary: As a Student Services Coordinator, you will play an integral role in supporting our students. You'll be the key liaison between students, staff, and the community, providing on-site and remote assistance to ensure smooth program operations. Your responsibilities will include maintaining student records, assisting with recruitment and orientation, and collaborating with both internal teams and external partners to meet program goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with student recruitment and orientation for various programs.
Prepare and administer CASAS appraisals, pre-tests, and post-tests promptly.
Maintain communication with administrative offices to ensure timely delivery of all CASAS paperwork.
Provide on-site and remote support to students, helping with any issues they may encounter.
Offer excellent customer service, welcoming visitors and handling incoming calls with professionalism.
Assist students with basic technical issues to ensure they can fully participate in the programs.
Promote and represent the programs to the target community.
Serve as a community resource, keeping the public informed about program activities.
Track and analyze student recruitment, retention, and attendance.
Prepare weekly and monthly reports on student and program activities.
Manage and organize both physical and electronic student records in a central, accessible system.
Coordinate the purchase and distribution of materials and supplies.
Handle student enrollment and registration processes.
Maintain a clean and organized site in collaboration with the team.
Ensure compliance with county health regulations, particularly in regard to the National School Lunch Program (NSLP).
Work closely with instructors to ensure a positive student experience.
Perform general office maintenance and clerical duties to support program operations.
Manage meal storage and inventory to reduce waste, ensuring proper rotation of food.
Track and document the distribution of technological devices to students.
Submit enrollments, transcripts, and other student-related documentation to relevant departments.

Qualifications:

Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
Highly organized with attention to detail.
Effective time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential situations with professionalism.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
Ability to work effectively in a team setting and collaborate with various stakeholders.

Education & Experience:

High school diploma or GED required.
Associate's degree preferred.
At least two years of relevant experience in a similar role preferred.

Travel Requirements:

Must have a valid driver's license and personal automobile insurance.
Willingness to travel as needed (up to 25%).

Language Skills:

Bilingual in Spanish required.

Physical Demands:

The role involves frequent use of hands, talking, and hearing.
The employee must be able to stand, sit, reach, and occasionally walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
Lifting and moving up to 10 pounds regularly and up to 40 pounds occasionally.
Ability to focus on close-up work, such as reading or computer tasks, for extended periods.

Work Environment:

Exposure to outdoor weather conditions may occur.
Occasional exposure to electrical hazards is possible.
