Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.

Security Clearance: Must be able to obtain security clearance.

Nokia Experience: Must have hands-on experience with Nokia solutions within the past 2 years.

Position Overview:

The candidate will serve as an onsite Resident Engineer supporting Nokia’s customer operations in Oakbrook Terrace, IL. This is a customer-facing role requiring recent, relevant experience with Nokia solutions. The Resident Engineer will be responsible for network operations, troubleshooting, documentation, and implementation activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide first-level troubleshooting and response for anomalies identified in Nokia elements.
• Escalate unresolved issues to Nokia Care and track resolutions.
• Support migrations, upgrades, and change implementation activities on behalf of the customer.
• Prepare and/or review Methods of Procedure (MOPs), where applicable under the Scope of Work. (SOW).
• Participate in ORT/ATP activities, if covered in the SOW.
• Deliver incident and KPI reports as required.
• Offer technical support and troubleshooting to end-users and stakeholders.
• Maintain up-to-date records of network configurations, changes, and upgrades.
• Supervise and guide contractors and BSS engineers during installation and integration of telecom equipment.
• Conduct trials, feature testing, and product launches. (as defined in the SOW).

Required Qualifications:

• Hands-on O&M experience with Nokia AirScale and FlexiZone (Indoor & Outdoor) BTS site solutions.
• Proficient in Nokia BTS Element Manager, including Web UI, BTS Site Manager, and BTS CLI.
• Strong experience with Nokia troubleshooting and tracing tools. (e.g., Emil Toolkit, DCAP, UTF, 5G Toolkit).
• Familiarity with various Nokia OSS/Mantray applications. (e.g., CM Operation Manager, CM Editor, Workflow Tool, Software Manager, Monitor Application).
• Experience using Nokia’s Discovery Documentation Center. (DDC).
