The Nobles County Assessor’s Department is currently accepting applications to hire one of the following positions depending on qualifications:
Property Appraiser I: supports the daily activities of the Nobles County Assessor’s office in valuation, assessment, and administrative fields. Qualifications: high school diploma, or GED, with a minimum of one year experience in Real Estate, Carpentry, Appraisal, Administration, Accounting, or a related field. Ability to obtain CMA designation within two years of hire. Valid driver’s license required.
Property Appraiser: Fairly, accurately and equitable appraises property for tax assessment purposes according to state and county guidelines. Qualifications: vocational/technical diploma in Real Estate, Administration, Accounting, or a related field, with a minimum of one year of experience working under a qualified Assessor, licensure as a CMA, and Income Qualified IQ certification. Ability to obtain AMA certification within stated guidelines. Valid driver’s license required.
Senior Property Appraiser: Fairly, accurately and equitable appraises property for tax assessment purposes according to state and county guidelines. Qualifications: vocational/technical diploma in Real Estate, Administration, Accounting, or a related field, with a minimum of one year of experience working under a qualified Assessor, licensure as a CMA, and Income Qualified IQ certification. AMA certification required. Valid driver’s license required.
