Responsibilities:

Position Summary:

The Blank Assistant III provides administrative and operational support to the Patient Relations and Decedent Affairs teams. This position requires a high level of professionalism, discretion, and organizational skill to manage sensitive patient and family interactions, coordinate interdepartmental communications, and ensure compliance with hospital policies and legal requirements. The ideal candidate has prior experience in a healthcare setting and demonstrates empathy, attention to detail, and the ability to manage complex administrative workflows.

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications:

  • Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties
  • Must demonstrate excellent customer service skills appropriate to the job.
  • Must be willing to travel between locations within the health system as needed.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
  • High school diploma and two years relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information
  • Ability to function independently
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience working in a hospital or healthcare clinic environment
  • Knowledge of UC policies and procedures
  • Bachelor’s degree
