Job Description

Primary Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical/computer engineering preferred or 5 or more years of professional experience as a NOC engineer or Change engineer in a large enterprise NOC.
• Possess Configuration Management (CMDB) knowledge.
• 5+ years of experience in a Network Operations Center with a focus on change management.
• 2-5+ years of experience working within the Wireless industry (3GPP).
• In depth understanding of the NOC Operating Model FCAPS or ITIL.
• ServiceNow experience a plus.

Job Description:

The Engineer will support the Change Management team:

• Be proactive in the Change Management Maintenance arena including decision making during approvals.
• Understand and develop Moratoriums for the wireless network, for work stoppages and freezes within the network.
• Assist in development and approval of ServiceNow and CMDB.
• Help formulate and establish robust change management process.
• Help assist and develop scalable, scheduling, entry and approval process for change management system using tools ServiceNow, JIRA.
• Track and Report performance metrics for the change management ecosystem.
• Establish Change success and failure criteria, failure root cause, failure notification and incident follow-up.
• Set up dashboard for easy access and reporting for NOC as part day to day troubleshooting tracking change requests - Performing such other ancillary activities in support of the above as requested by DISH.
