The Horticulture Manager is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing garden service and horticulture installation crews, ensuring operational excellence, and driving the continued growth and success of the company’s horticultural services. Responsibilities

• Lead and manage Garden Service (route-based maintenance) and Horticulture Installation crews, ensuring high standards of quality and efficiency
• Oversee the planning and execution of seasonal installations, including annuals, decor, perennials, and small garden projects
• Drive financial performance by meeting gross margin goals and identifying upsell opportunities for existing clients
• Develop and enhance garden service programs to expand offerings and improve client satisfaction
• Collaborate with Account Managers and Business Developers on client renewals, upsells, and seasonal strategies
• Train, mentor, and support staff to build a high-retention, high-performing team
• Manage logistics, including procurement of materials and maintenance of equipment and vehicles
• Contribute to winter snow operations as a key member of the team
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation and reporting

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in horticulture, landscaping, or grounds management
• Previous leadership or crew management experience
• Strong knowledge of seasonal plantings, perennial care, and landscape bed maintenance
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work both in the field and in the office as needed
• Valid driver’s license
