This role involves setting up, operating, and maintaining filling machines in a fast-paced food production environment. You will ensure food safety and quality protocols are adhered to, while performing nominal maintenance and in-process sanitation as needed. This position requires the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and adherence to all Safety and GMP regulations. **Responsibilities** + Set-up, operate, and maintain filling machine. + Perform and record quality checks to ensure shelf-life integrity and package quality. + Perform nominal maintenance on equipment. + Conduct and document Clean-In-Place (CIP) and in-process sanitation on equipment and/or area as needed. + Ensure food safety and quality protocols are followed. + Adhere to all Safety and GMP regulations at all times. + Utilize appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including safety glasses, face shields, hearing protection, safety shoes, and gloves. **Essential Skills** + At least 1 year of experience in food production or similar role. + Ability to follow a recipe and physically move 40lb+ bags of ingredients. + Proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English. + Strong interpersonal communication skills. + Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. + Ability to read charts and monitors. + Ability to multitask effectively. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Ability to lift 50-55 lbs on a regular basis. + Ability to push up to 300 pounds and pull up to 500 pounds with mechanical assistance. + Use of Redzone software. + Ability to stand for 12+ hours in a fast-paced environment. + Steel toe boots are required for all production and warehouse positions. **Why Work Here?** Employees receive a $1000 bonus for every month employed until the plant shutdown in July 2026, making it a rewarding opportunity. Strong odors may be present, and the role requires standing for extended periods of time.
