Hours: 4-5 hours

Compensation: $50 to $65 per Hour

A family in New York, NY is looking for an experienced chef to prepare and serve fresh, high-quality meals. The ideal candidate will handle meal prep, clean-up, and kitchen maintenance, including keeping the refrigerator organized. Responsibilities also include grocery shopping and menu planning tailored to the family’s preferences. The chef should be dependable, organized, and passionate about creating delicious and nutritious meals.

Main Work Duties:  

• Plan, prepare, and serve simple, healthy and delicious meals according to household preferences and dietary needs.
• Prepare and label meals
• Shop for groceries and specialty items, sourcing from local markets and trusted vendors.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen at all times.
• Properly store food and manage inventory to minimize waste.
• Ensure all kitchen equipment is maintained and in good working order.
• Managing food budgets and receipts.
• Clean kitchen after

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of chef experience in a private home.
• Excellent references from both current and previous employers.
• Ability to work independently.
• Must speak and be able to communicate well in English.
• Authorized to work in the United States for any employer.
• Valid Driver's license and clean driving record.
