Job Description

We are hiring a  Maintenance Technician  to work onsite at our community in Roseville CA- in the Sacramento area. 

AIR Communities   uses industry leading technology for a modern approach to maintenance so our Maintenance Technicians can help as many residents as possible each day. Whether you are turning an apartment to create the perfect move-in experience for new residents or resolving service requests to ensure that our current residents feel at home every day is filled with new challenges.

Where You Will Work

You will work onsite at AIRs  community located in Roseville CA- just outside of Sacramento CA

What You Will Do

  • Provide excellent service to residents and assistance to team members.
  • Follow AIRs process for completion of basic apartment turns to make the apartment ready for the next residents perfect move-in experience
  • With general direction complete resident requested repairs and routine maintenance (i.e. troubleshoot and repair/replace plumbing basic electrical components HVAC equipment and appliances etc.)
  • May provide functional/technical direction and training to other Maintenance Technicians and support the development of technical skills.
  • May assist with managing vendor quality and may perform move-in/move-out inspections.
  • Responsibilities vary based on team member skillset and community needs mechanical systems and season.

What You Have

  • At least 2 years of maintenance experience preferably in some form of facilities or building environment
  • Proficient skills in at least two technical trades  (plumbing electrical appliance repair HVAC carpentry etc.)
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule  including evenings weekends 7-day work weeks (depending on community needs and seasonality) and on-call shifts (at least one week a month).
  • A reliable mode of transportation  to respond to emergency service requests while on-call after hours.
  • Comfort with physical activity  as you must be able and willing to move heavy equipment and machinery.
  • Ability to read write and speak English.
