This fully remote position offers flexible hours and the chance to teach English to children aged 3 to 18 across Asia. As an online English teacher, you will conduct one-on-one, 25-minute lessons using Total Physical Response methods to create a dynamic and engaging learning experience. All training and teaching materials will be provided, ensuring that you have everything you need to succeed.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver interactive and engaging one-on-one English lessons to students aged 3-18.
Conduct 25-minute classes using techniques to encourage participation and comprehension.
Foster a fun, energetic, and supportive learning environment.
Open a minimum of 10 peak hours per week for lessons.
Follow the structured curriculum and provided teaching materials.
Be punctual, prepared, and professional in every class.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree (preferred in Early Childhood Education, Child Psychology, English, or Literature).
One of the following teaching credentials:
A teaching license or certification issued by a U.S. or Canadian government agency or a recognized teaching association.
A 120-hour TEFL, TESOL, CELTA, or equivalent certification.
At least one year of teaching experience in a public or international school.
Ability to teach effectively using Total Physical Response methods.
Energetic, approachable, and committed to inspiring students.
Reliable, punctual, and able to teach independently.
Technical Requirements:
Computer: Windows PC (Intel Core i5 2.3 GHz or above) or MacBook Pro/iMac (post-2016) / MacBook Air (post-2020) with at least 8GB RAM.
Internet: Stable fiber-optic connection with a minimum of 50 Mbps bandwidth (at least 10 Mbps download speed).
Equipment: Noise-canceling headset, HD webcam, and a quiet, well-lit teaching space.
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday: 6 PM - 9 PM (Beijing Time)
Saturday to Sunday: 9 AM - 9 PM (Beijing Time)
Minimum Commitment: 10 peak teaching hours per week.
